Finance Manager Role

We are seeking a strategic finance leader to oversee day-to-day finance operations and drive long-term financial sustainability.

This hands-on role involves delivering timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will also be responsible for providing financial leadership for procurement and contract oversight, enhancing internal controls, cash flow, and payroll cost analysis, as well as supporting insurance renewals, risk mitigation, and investment strategies.

As a values-driven and commercially astute finance professional, you bring strong business acumen, analytical expertise, and a collaborative leadership style. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Overseeing audit, funding acquittals, and statutory compliance.
  • Providing financial leadership for procurement and contract oversight.
  • Enhancing internal controls, cash flow, and payroll cost analysis.
  • Supporting insurance renewals, risk mitigation, and investment strategies.
  • Mentoring finance staff and building internal financial literacy organisation-wide.
  • Leading digital automation and process improvement projects in the finance function.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years' accounting experience with team leadership.
  • Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and scenario modelling capabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience using CRM, payroll, and reporting tools.
  • High-level communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • A proactive approach to solving complex issues and leading change.
