Lead Digital Product Vision

A critical role awaits you in shaping organisational capability through hands-on leadership, strategic influence, and deep expertise across all aspects of digital product development. As a Senior Digital Product Owner, you will lead a cross-functional digital squad from opportunity identification and solution design through to development, delivery, and optimisation.

About The Opportunity

Drive improvements in both digital experience and digital sales performance by leading your team to develop and deliver exceptional service. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a digital squad from opportunity and design through to development and delivery.
  • Championing Digital Product capability and remit.
  • Leads and delivers Digital Product Strategy in both digital products and ways of working.
  • Works with technology, frontline, product teams, digital teams, marketing, and customers to form a deep understanding of customer problems and potential solutions.
  • Uses prioritisation skills to make the right call on what needs to be addressed when and how value can be delivered as early as possible.
  • Documents findings into specifications, user stories, etc. that will be used as the foundation of the development and testing phases.
  • Uses great research, analysis, and decision-making skills to juggle the wide range of enhancements and bug fixes into an achievable roadmap.
What You'll Need To Be Successful
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a senior Digital Product Owner and leading cross-functional teams from Design through to Delivery.
  • Proven experience in delivering digital product features and enhancements that have driven both customer experience and commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to articulate digital product decisions to cross-functional teams, senior management, and other key stakeholders as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities whilst completing work according to schedule.
  • Ensures cross-functional squads are clear about why features and experiences are prioritised and that they are motivated to the Digital Product vision and roadmap.
  • Champions customer-centric approaches by collaborating with the design team to develop user stories, wireframes, and workflows that solve real problems for our customers.
  • Defines best practice ways of working and implements and champions within cross-functional squads.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders to capture feedback, suggestions, and help develop new concepts based on industry research and the needs of members.
  • Works with digital analytics team to iterate, track, and measure impact of activities and development including ROI.
  • Drives innovation and motivates cross-functional squads, peers, and stakeholders by being an open, authentic, and genuine self-motivated leader who is visionary, action-oriented, and energised by winning as a team.
  • Champions Product Ownership as a discipline and brings best practice methods and approaches to ways of working.
  • Insurance experience would be advantageous.
