Senior IT Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our team and lead the development of our internal IT capabilities. This full-time role is based at our head office in Highett, VIC.


The successful candidate will work closely with our leadership team and operational staff to implement scalable digital solutions, including the development of a purpose-built app to integrate our healthcare and home care services.

About the Role
  • Design, develop, and launch an integrated client-facing app to connect and streamline health and home care services.
  • Evaluate and improve existing IT systems, infrastructure, and digital processes across the business.
  • Develop and implement an IT roadmap that aligns with organisational goals and future expansion.
  • Manage onsite IT support, assets, systems access, and staff training across multiple sites.
  • Oversee procurement and implementation of core platforms (CRM, LMS, client records, appointment systems).
  • Ensure cyber security, data privacy, and compliance with aged care and healthcare regulatory frameworks.
  • Engage and manage third-party vendors or developers when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires a strong background in senior IT roles, preferably in health or community services. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Requirements
  • Strong experience in a senior IT role (e.g. IT Manager, Systems Lead, Digital Transformation Lead).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver custom digital solutions or app-based platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and cyber security.
  • Familiarity with aged care, healthcare software, or government-funded service systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
