As a Financial Services Professional in our Business Services team, you will be involved in working with a diverse range of clients from start-ups to family owned businesses and global entities. This role will provide you exposure to numerous clients across a broad range of industries.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Advisor to join our Business Services division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services to our clients, including preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and business advice.

The ideal candidate will have a background in business services, tax or accounting, and excellent analytical skills. You will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards across various industries;
  • Prepare income tax returns for a variety of entities including companies, trusts and high net worth individuals;
  • Perform various tax planning tasks for clients and preparing advice relating to business operations and regulatory matters;
  • Provide a range of business and tax advisory services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of financial services, taxation and accounting principles;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • CA or CPA qualifications, or be currently studying;
  • Knowledge and use of Advanced Professional Solutions (APS) and/or Xero is desirable.
