Dynamic Team Manager for Child-Focused Counselling

CatholicCare Tasmania is a leading provider of social services in the North of Tasmania, delivering therapeutic child-focused counselling to students in partnership with Catholic Schools.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

The Team Leader will oversee the School Counselling program, ensuring effective delivery of therapeutic counselling services to students. Key responsibilities include provision of clinical supervision, leadership and coordination of team activities, and liaison with parents, teachers, and school administrators.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in providing clinical supervision, consultation and debriefing to professional employees regarding direct service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in providing 'leadership' to human services professional teams in a manner that highlights flexibility, creativity and integration.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline, post graduate qualifications highly regarded; and/or a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People registration.
