At AGL, we're shaping the future of energy and looking for a talented Senior Project Engineer to lead our Commercial & Industrial Energy Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and delivering large-scale energy projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and innovation.

About the Role

  • Lead Engineering Design and Technical Sign-Off for complex energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and WHS regulations.
  • Develop Safe Designs for Energy Solutions projects, including Solar PV and Energy Storage systems, to meet project deadlines and drive business objectives.
  • Mentor and Develop Engineers in best design practices, industry standards, and AGL work practices, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Conduct Project Sign-Off and Safety Walks to ensure safe and quality installations, identifying areas for improvement and driving operational efficiencies.

Your Background and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Photovoltaic Engineering with Chartership with Engineers Australia (or actively seeking accreditation).
  • Experience in Design and Construction of Major Industrial and Commercial Rooftop Solar Systems up to 2MWp, ground mount solar systems, and integration into LV and HV infrastructure electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of Design and Engineering Software (solar modelling and electrical component specification software, NetSuite, Procore, and AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.
  • Well-Developed Organization and Communication Skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
