This is a full-time hybrid permanent role offering the opportunity to design and implement manufacturing processes and supporting utilities on a scale that can range from developmental pilot plant to full commercial production. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will have the chance to use your great communication skills and technical expertise to mentor other team members, while also learning from those around you.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will assume design leadership for projects from concept design till procurement. You will be responsible for producing deliverables, such as estimation of utility requirements for new manufacturing processes, design utilities generation and distribution systems, and performing engineering studies for expanding, improving or automating existing facilities with limited supervision.

You will also assume ownership of the process-related aspects of a portion of a large project or an entire small project, and provide technical support to the design teams. Furthermore, you will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and members of the IPS design team, and assist in the education and development of design staff and act as a resource for design questions.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, at least 7-10 years of engineering experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries, and knowledge of cGMP's as they affect process design and equipment specification. A Chartered Professional Engineer designation in Australia is also preferred.
