About the Role: Signalling Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Signalling Senior Project Engineer to join our team on the Inland Rail Beveridge to Albury Tranche 2 Project. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the project.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading the design, procurement, installation, and testing and commissioning of signalling systems for various project sites. You will also be responsible for collaborating with project teams to ensure that all signalling requirements are met and integrated seamlessly with other project elements.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of subcontractors to achieve outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify any issues or risks, and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including designs, specifications, and reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to signalling systems.
About You: Key Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Signalling Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in signalling engineering and a proven track record of delivering projects within deadlines and budget constraints.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and extensive knowledge and understanding of signalling systems, including design, installation, and commissioning processes.

You will also need to have strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
