The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Alice Springs. As a key member of our Allied Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing culturally-responsive speech pathology services for Aboriginal children, youth, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality assessment and therapeutic supports to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Work collaboratively with children, youth, and their families to develop and implement individualized plans to optimize their child's development.
- Support the overall health and wellbeing of Aboriginal children and youth through evidence-based practice and community engagement.
We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes:
- A base salary of $100,210 - $112,222 per annum.
- An attractive total effective package of $123,479 - $137,115 per annum, which includes district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax saving from salary packaging options.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Postgraduate qualifications in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience working with children and youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- Cultural competence and understanding of the needs of Aboriginal children and families.
