Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatrics and General Surgery Enrolled Nurse to join our team. As an Enrolled Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, from children to adults, and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This is a 32-bed ward specialising in ENT/Orthopaedics/Plastics and Paediatrics (both adult and paediatric), as well as other general surgical specialties. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, where you can grow and develop your skills, this may be the perfect role for you.

Brisbane Private Hospital is a 181-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Our hospital has a strong focus on patient care and safety, and we are committed to providing high-quality services to our patients.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering safe and researched-based nursing care to individuals and groups under the direction and supervision of the RN. This will include working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs, administering medications according to state law and organisation policy, and acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a Diploma of Nursing, a minimum of 1 year acute hospital experience as an Enrolled Nurse, and current Registration with AHPRA. You will also need to demonstrate commitment to quality patient care, sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work well independently and within a team.
