Paediatric and General Surgery Nurse

Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking experienced nurses to join our established Paediatric & General Surgery unit on either a part time or full time basis.
We are a 32 bed, fast paced, high turnover ward specialising in ENT/Orthopaedics/Plastics and Paediatrics (both adult and paeds), along with other general surgical specialities. This is an ideal role for a surgical nurse wanting to use and grow their skills.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring patient and staff safety. They will also supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care.
- Provide high-quality nursing care that meets the needs of patients and families
- Liaise effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Ensure a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors
- Supervise and develop nursing team members to improve patient outcomes
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in paediatrics or adult nursing. They must also hold current registration with AHPRA and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
