Leading innovation in junior education presents a transformative opportunity for an experienced educator to assume the role of Deputy Head of Junior School – Teaching and Learning.
This permanent, full-time position at our esteemed institution involves working collaboratively with teaching teams to create engaging learning experiences that drive academic success.
The successful applicant will assist the Head of Junior School in developing and implementing curriculum programs using the NSW curriculum and IB Primary Years Programme frameworks. This will involve:
- Developing comprehensive K-6 teaching programs, utilizing expertise in programming, assessment, and evaluation of outcomes;
- Leading curriculum development and innovation, staying up-to-date with emerging trends in primary education;
- Building positive relationships and fostering collaboration among teachers and stakeholders in a K-12 environment;
- Advancing expertise in Positive Education and wellbeing;
- Maintaining qualification in Education and registration with NESA;
- Exercising proven leadership skills in curriculum management and innovation;
- Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Working proactively and collaboratively within a team.
