About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and managing supplier relationships.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Raw Materials: You will be responsible for negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to meet our production needs.
  • Manage Suppliers: You will evaluate and manage suppliers in line with industry standards, maintaining strong relationships to ensure supply security.
  • Negotiate Terms and Pricing: You will negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to deliver annual cost savings.
  • Process Purchase Orders: You will accurately process purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor Stock Levels: You will monitor stock levels across multiple sites, maintaining minimum stock controls to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Purchasing Experience: Proven experience in purchasing and procurement, with a strong understanding of negotiation and supplier management techniques.
  • ERP System Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Winman, is desirable.
  • Stock Control and Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
