Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Coordinator to oversee the safe and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and supplies. This role involves coordinating logistics operations, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily logistics activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Manage staff performance, training, and scheduling to optimize productivity and safety.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules with carriers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Liaise with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast and plan logistics needs.
  • Investigate and resolve logistics issues, discrepancies, or delays in shipping and receiving.
  • Implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes.
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, KPIs, and cost efficiency.

Requirements
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics regulations.
  • Proficient in warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to analyze logistics data to improve operational efficiency.
  • Competent in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and logistics tracking software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset to assess logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
