Job Summary

As a Telecommunications Rigger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of telecommunications sites. Reporting to the Senior Field Manager, your responsibilities will include upgrading and modifying existing wireless telecommunications sites, working at heights, and installing mobile/broadcast antenna systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Upgrade and modify existing wireless telecommunications sites, including mobile, fixed wireless, and broadcast projects.
  • Work at heights, install mobile/broadcast antenna systems, RRU, feeders, and microwave links.
  • Install and test hybrid cables, perform PIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault, terminate feeders, bird-proofing, and waterproofing connectors.
  • Check, maintain, and operate equipment according to safety, efficiency, and calibration procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a telecommunications rigger.
  • A current Certificate in Rigging (Basic minimum).
  • Experience with earthing requirements.
  • Working at heights, tower rescue certification, and ability to comfortably operate at heights regularly.
  • Solid knowledge of telecommunication rigging techniques and best practice.
  • RadHaz / EME Awareness.
  • MR or HR Licence (Highly regarded).
