Radio Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Radio Communications Specialist. This position involves working on-site, conducting site surveys, installing and configuring radio networks, maintaining and servicing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs.

This varied role encompasses a range of tasks including:

  • Site surveying and installation of radio networks
  • Maintenance and servicing of radio equipment
  • Troubleshooting and repair of faults
  • Programming of radio networks, CCTV, PAGA, telephony and IP networks

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of P25, TETRA, and DMR radio equipment, as well as experience in industrial telecommunications. A Certificate III or higher in electronics engineering, RF engineering or related fields of study is also required.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing expertise in radio communications, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key requirements include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial telecommunications
  • Certificate III or higher in electronics engineering, RF engineering or related fields of study
  • Strong technical knowledge of P25, TETRA, and DMR radio equipment
  • Experience in full lifecycle of on-site radio telecommunications
