Water Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Engineer to join our team in the Perth Metro area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and experience in water treatment system maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.

You will be responsible for performing on-site assessments, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting for water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

  1. Manage chemical dosing programs and monitor system performance across industries such as mineral processing, food and beverage, and manufacturing.
  2. Support the installation and commissioning of water treatment systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and adherence to safety protocols.
  3. Provide clients with technical reports and recommendations for system improvements.
  4. Develop customised water treatment solutions for RO and membrane filtration systems, optimising performance and reducing costs.
  5. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  6. Respond promptly to customer service requests and emergency situations.
  7. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all client systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or trade background.
  • Experience in water treatment systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of chemical dosing programs, reverse osmosis and water quality standards in Australia.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Certification in water treatment technologies preferred.
