Support Worker Job Opportunity

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, varying in age, diagnosis, ability, and background.

  • Set clear boundaries when necessary.
  • Provide guidance as required.

Our Support Manager will provide guidance on the best approach, but you must demonstrate initiative and adapt to unforeseen situations.

Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • A Blue Card certification.
  • A Yellow Card certification.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and own vehicle.
  • NDIS Quality & Safeguards Support Worker Orientation Module completion.
  • NDIS Quality & Safeguards Effective Communication Module completion.
  • NDIS Quality & Safeguards Mealtime Management Module completion.
  • COVID-19 Infection Prevention Training completion.
  • PPE Training completion.
  • Current First-Aid certification.
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccination certificate.
  • Mental Health First Aid would be advantageous.

This is a part-time, casual position available in Wollongong, QLD.
