
Nurse Advocate

As a dedicated and compassionate caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care to our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care that meets the unique needs of each resident. You will work closely with our Care Manager to ensure seamless coordination of care and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in accordance with best practice procedures
- Acting as a Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the Personal Care Team
- Working in a safe and efficient manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents by adhering to all policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
- Strong coaching/training skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
