About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Solutions Engineer to join our Customer Markets Technology team and provide dedicated support to our Sustainable Business Energy Solutions Technology (SBES) group.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring the operational integrity and efficiency of the Oracle NetSuite application, which is critical to the day-to-day business operations of SBES.

As a Senior NetSuite Solutions Engineer, you'll work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, managing complex issues and serving as an escalation point for Level 3 support to provide specialized NetSuite support.

You'll proactively engage with the user community to understand challenges and requirements and spearhead development initiatives to drive innovations and enhance productivity within the SBES business unit.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 4 support for Oracle NetSuite, addressing and resolving complex technical issues escalated from Level 3 support.
  • Develop and implement enhancements to the Oracle NetSuite application as part of our continuous improvement function.
  • Work closely with the Technology Lead to ensure alignment of Oracle NetSuite functionalities with our overall technology strategy and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the Oracle NetSuite system to ensure it meets our operational standards and efficiency metrics.
  • Manage, execute, and maintain system integrations.
  • Document all coding changes, fixes, and enhancements in line with company policy and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing of new developments in a sandbox environment before deployment to ensure stability and minimize disruptions to business operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong experience working with Oracle NetSuite and a deep understanding of its functionality and technical configuration.
  • Software development experience and experience with languages and platforms used by Oracle NetSuite such as JavaScript (SuiteScript 2.x), and SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex system issues with an analytical and detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills, and ability to clearly record processes, actions, and development changes for compliance and operational continuity.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
