This role offers the chance to create a lasting, positive impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by domestic violence.
The Domestic and Family Violence Service provides support to those at risk of, or experiencing, domestic violence. As a dedicated case manager, you will work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to provide professional high-quality case management, advocacy, and counseling to clients.
- You will facilitate the process of helping women and children experiencing, or at risk of, domestic violence move towards independent and safe housing.
- You will have an understanding of the issues affecting domestic violence clients.
- You will be able to establish positive, empowering relationships with clients.
- You will advocate for and with your clients, ensuring their needs remain the focus.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- A valid Australian driver's license.
- Relevant experience in homelessness, domestic/family violence, or similar roles in a paid or voluntary capacity.
