We are seeking an experienced Surface Water Engineer to join our team in NSW. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flood modelling, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering surface water engineering projects to a broad range of clients across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering surface water engineering projects to various clients.
  • Undertaking work that involves the application of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software.
  • Working alongside staff developing models and preparing quality reports for internal and external clients on time.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Engineering tertiary qualification and extensive industry experience.
  • Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, particularly two-dimensional hydraulic modelling.
  • Experience in hydrological modelling and assessments, including knowledge of Australian Rainfall and Runoff guidelines.
  • Knowledge of stormwater management, erosion control and water quality assessment would be highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
