Job Overview

Our organisation is seeking a talented Surface Water Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering surface water engineering projects to clients across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver surface water engineering projects to clients on time and within budget
  • Undertake hydrologic and hydraulic modelling work using industry-standard software
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop models and prepare high-quality reports for internal and external clients
  • Develop and enhance relationships between clients and SLR team members
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and methodologies to identify value propositions for clients
  • Provide expert advice and assistance to clients and team members on project-related matters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Appropriate engineering tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience
  • Extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, particularly application of two-dimensional hydraulic modelling
  • Experience in hydrological modelling and assessments, including knowledge of Australian Rainfall and Runoff and relevant guidelines and standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage projects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Excellent driving history and current driver's license
