Operational Risk Management Lead

The role of Operational Risk Management Lead is to ensure robust operational risk practices across the organization. This involves collaborating closely with senior executives to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing thought leadership and practical advice to businesses on operational risk management.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the business risk profile and processes.
  • Catalyzing change where necessary to ensure risk and control self-assessments are current and comprehensive.

You will also analyze incidents to ensure swift resolution, capture lessons learned, and share insights for improvement.

Additional responsibilities include addressing operational issues through targeted projects or reviews, developing extreme loss event scenarios for capital calculations, and responding to stakeholder requests.

A tertiary degree in Finance or a related field is essential; postgraduate qualifications (CA, CPA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

Over 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Operational Risk, or Internal/External Audit within financial or professional services is required.
