Your role is to provide support in planning and delivering quality initiatives. You will collaborate with the Manager Maternity Services to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert input into clinical audit development related to Obstetric and Neonatal Services.
  • You will conduct centralised auditing across multiple maternity services focusing on key controls.
  • Compile regular reports on audit outcomes and opportunities for improvement to enhance patient safety.
  • Develop resources to support hospitals in adopting quality improvement actions.
  • Review organisational policy and procedure to ensure it supports practice improvement.
  • Collaborate with individual hospital management/midwifery teams to establish local processes for quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within the midwifery specialty.
  • Experience in planning, developing, delivering and evaluating practice improvement projects in the acute hospital setting.
  • AHPRA registration as a Nurse/Midwife or Midwife.
