About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Delivering 4 Customers, a leading consortium in the industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for delivering high-quality mechanical solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also be setting project programs, monitoring costs and invoices, and contributing to the constructability of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Supporting Construction Leads to deliver projects within scope, time, cost, quality, and regulatory standards.
  2. Program Setting: Establishing daily, weekly, and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs.
  3. Cost Monitoring: Reviewing and managing costs, invoices, and claims for allocated projects.
  4. Constructability: Contributing to the constructability of projects during design development.
  5. Tender Evaluation: Evaluating and awarding subcontract procurement packages.
  6. Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and materials against drawings and specifications.
  7. Performance Analysis: Analyzing project performance data and reporting on progress and compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, or Construction Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of engineering experience.
  • Licenses: NSW Driver's License and White Card.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
