Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the planning department, you will play a critical role in developing daily and weekly schedules aligned to the monthly mine plan and targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing weekly schedules and supporting monthly pit and overburden emplacement facility planning.
  • Providing guidance to technical staff and planners, including participation in planning meetings.
  • Liaising with Maintenance teams to optimise equipment maintenance scheduling.
  • Acting as process owner for short-term overburden placement facility (OEF) design and inspection processes.
  • Managing weekly data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with business needs.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimise resources and deliver against the mine plan.
  • Providing expertise on OEF sequencing and construction methodologies.
  • Ensuring all designs meet policies and compliance requirements.
