Job Title: Head of Workforce Planning

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive national workforce planning and analytics across nursing agency and travel nurse operations. In this role, you will ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time, delivering exceptional care across Australia. Your insights and strategies will directly impact workforce efficiency, client satisfaction, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national workforce strategy that aligns with business objectives and client requirements
  • Forecast workforce supply and demand, identifying risks, gaps, and growth opportunities, including international workforce initiatives
  • Lead workforce reporting, dashboards, and analytics to inform senior executive decision-making
  • Ensure accurate, integrated data and optimize reporting systems
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and HR to drive targeted attraction and resourcing strategies
  • Advise senior leaders on trends, workforce optimization, and support bids and client proposals

Requirements:

  • A strong analytical mindset with expertise in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel (must have), Power BI, Tableau, SQL (desirable))
  • An understanding of key principles of workforce supply/demand modeling and predictive analytics, or a willingness to quickly learn these
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to link workforce decisions to business outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership and people development capabilities
