Electrical Engineer Position

This role forms part of the core professional group and contributes to the overall design capability. It is project focused, involving engineering design for mining, minerals processing, and utility sectors.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in the industry with a solid track record in mining and utilities.

The position requires senior level project design experience in minerals processing applications, power generation, power distribution/transmission, or the utilities sector.

Key skills include high voltage engineering design, consulting capacity experience, and power simulation software proficiency.

Additionally, exceptional technical skills are required in areas such as power simulation assessments, regulatory submissions, major electrical plant selection/specifications, earth grid design, HV/LV switchboard design, power line design, protection systems, testing/commissioning, and wiring/schematic diagrams.

A recognised Electrical Engineering Degree by Engineers Australia is necessary, along with commercial awareness, interpersonal/communication skills, and a positive attitude.
