Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in merchandising, with a strong understanding of the Sports Performance, Running & Fashion markets.

You will be responsible for building profitable and consumer-right assortments for the ANZ market, working closely with sales, marketing, and direct-to-consumer teams.

In this role, you will execute continuous review of the marketplace, develop robust pricing architecture, and partner with key wholesale customers on special projects and seasonal requirements.

We are looking for a creative, strategic, analytical, innovative, and problem-solving individual who is skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

Your ability to influence internal stakeholders and build strong relationships will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Global and Regional brand principles to drive key brand strategies in the market.
  • Execute continuous review of the marketplace in conjunction with sales, commercial, and direct-to-consumer functions.
  • Build relevant and consumer-centric assortments for the marketplace via channel and segmentation models.
  • Develop robust pricing architecture to accelerate brand positioning while maximizing commercial outcomes.
  • Partner with key wholesale customers on special projects, seasonal requirements, and further product developments.
  • Play a key role in the GTM touchpoints with both sales and direct-to-consumer.
  • In conjunction with commercial teams drive the assortment planning process including market capacities, net sales, and margin requirements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated at least 2+ years in merchandising capacity in footwear, apparel or accessories lead consumer product industry.
  • Astute understanding of the Sports Performance, Running & Fashion markets.
  • Must be creative, strategic, analytical, innovative, and a problem-solver.
  • Skilful in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work autonomously but take direction from multiple stakeholders.
  • Confident presenting in front of small to large internal teams.
  • Available for domestic and international travel as required.
