The Demand and Supply Management (DSM) team is responsible for ensuring every Nike athlete is able to access the product they want when they want it. DSM is revolutionizing how planning is done across Nike by ensuring Consumer Demand is Nike Demand.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Strategic Assortment Planning Manager to ensure consumer demand is met and a healthy pull market is maintained. The success of our team relies on collaborative and detail-oriented assortment planners that drive consumer-based franchise plans to optimize sales, margin and profitable sustainable growth for Nike and Marketplace Partner Accounts. Our best assortment planners step up to address difficult issues, operate effectively when the way forward isn't clear, think strategically, and develop innovative ideas to promote success.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you'll develop a robust assortment planning framework that includes product depth, flow and sku efficiency, whilst providing marketplace consumer insights to evolve the product line. Your priorities will be in pre-season, in-season and post-season planning. A typical day/week looks like: building bottoms-up forecasts to inform pre-season decisions, weekly sales analysis to identify risk and opportunity in-season, collaboration with your account team and retailer to manage performance and providing post-season assortment insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Nike Store Partnered (NSP)/Marketplace Partner Planning Manager. You'll be working closely with a cross functional strategic account team as well as engaging the retailer's buying and planning teams in weekly and seasonal conversations. You'll also stay connected to the other assortment planners and succeed through your ability to collaborate and drive action and results both internally and externally.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Retail, Marketing or related field
- 2 years+ retail planning experience, in a vertical retail or wholesale environment
- Merchandise planning experience is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills is essential
- Comprehensive understanding of retail math required
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work across a matrix environment
