Infrastructure Project Manager

The Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program is a major infrastructure project that aims to reduce crash severity and frequency, particularly between Gympie and Cairns. As a key member of the program team, you will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of this initiative.
Your responsibilities will include managing stakeholder engagement with government agencies, traditional owners, and other key stakeholders; identifying and harnessing internal and external expertise to deliver program objectives; and collaborating with the broader BHTSP teams across the state.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and coordinate a team of professionals to ensure that all program activities are undertaken in accordance with requirements and industry best-practice.
- Manage stakeholder engagement for the program and provide specialist advice to senior management on all aspects of the program.
- Identify and harness the necessary internal and external expertise to deliver program objectives.
- Collaborate and work in partnership with the broader BHTSP teams across the state.
- Investigate, manage, and resolve complex engineering and contractual issues associated with the program.
- Manage, monitor, and report on program progress through the preparation and delivery of submissions and reports.
