We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our dynamic team at a leading tertiary hospital in Tasmania. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with complex trauma, medical, surgical, and paediatric presentations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior clinical role within a major referral centre serving the entire state. You'll be part of a well-resourced ED with strong links to specialist teams, retrieval services, and medical education.
The successful candidate will have expertise in emergency medicine and strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising junior doctors and participating in education, research, and quality improvement programs.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely care and efficient patient flow. This hospital is an accredited site for Emergency Medicine training and offers opportunities to contribute to advanced teaching and mentoring for ACEM trainees and medical students.
