Job Description:

We are seeking a Design Manager to lead the development of our Class 1 Home dwelling residential product designs.

This role will involve managing the existing design library, driving innovation through collaboration with Sales and key stakeholders, and overseeing the end-to-end design process.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in project management and time management.

About You:

  • You have a degree in architecture or building design and at least 10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • You possess strong knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, residential construction techniques, cost, Australian Standards and building legislation.
  • You have experience working on construction sites and can identify and document business processes and system improvements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the existing design library, updating, innovating and optimising as required.
  2. Manage and mentor a team of designers to achieve consistent and compliant designs in a timely manner.
  3. Partner with Sales Teams to obtain design briefs, innovate and establish the pipeline of upcoming work.
  4. Manage all aspects of new product designs into the Rawson library.
  5. Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver timely projects for our display home designs.
