Carpenter Position

As a skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing general carpentry tasks and related duties in a safe and efficient manner. Your role will involve constructing frames and roofs, excavation and concreting, handling tools and materials, installation of windows, doors, and fixtures, leveling and setting out, measurement and calculation, occupational health and safety, reading plans and specifications, structural inspection and damage detection.

  • You will adhere to occupational health and safety procedures, requirements, and policies which includes handling tools and wearing safety equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and assist in planning and organisation of work.
  • Perform calculations, measurements, and installation of various carpentry structures.

  • Maintain occupational health and safety

To be successful in this role, you should have an AQF Certificate III in Carpentry, at least 3 years of work experience, a positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and handle stress, and commit beyond normal working hours when required.
