About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing sheet flooring, erecting light weight steel wall frames and roof trusses, installing windows and doors, and constructing eaves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install sheet metal roof cladding
  • Construct eaves
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members
  • Set out buildings on site
  • Ensure accurate setup of building levels as per datum and drawings provided
  • Source and procure necessary materials in a timely manner
  • Install exterior wall claddings
  • Install linings, panelling and mouldings
  • Fabricate manholes, special door furniture, flashings, etc.
  • Rework and refurbish builds as required
  • Install transit walls as needed
  • Maintain and repair work as required
  • Customize furniture products to suit specific requirements
  • ClosE out punch list items prior to and after client inspections
  • Erect scaffolding around buildings when required
  • Build stairs, ramps, and other items as needed
  • Provide assistance to trade workers and labourers to perform their duties
  • Undertake any other carpentry duties as required
About the Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will have a solid understanding of construction principles and practices, and be able to interpret plans and specifications.
