Transportation Strategist

We are seeking a Senior Manager Freight Strategy professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.
This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to influence change for our customers and community by providing vital support, ensuring seamless project execution, and playing a key role in the reform of NSW rail.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement pricing methodologies, manage commercial arrangements for public and third-party rail operators, and oversee economic regulatory and pricing accountabilities.
- Coordinate all of TAM's economic regulatory and pricing responsibilities, including rail access administration and contract management consistent with the requirements of the NSW Rail Access Undertaking and individual rail operator access agreements.
- Lead annual compliance reporting to IPART, coordinating data gathering, drafting, preparing, and obtaining approval of submissions.
- Establish and perform assurance, audit, and compliance for the delivery of non-price access products and services by TAM Agents.
- Collaborate with Transport for NSW PIP (Freight & Transport Planning) and SPER divisions to advance NSW's government policy objectives for freight on rail.
You will join a collaborative team bringing your sense of enthusiasm and fun. Together, we will support each other to create meaningful change within the NSW rail network.
This role requires weekly Sydney travel.
