Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for early intervention and effective claims management, working closely with stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide training and mentoring on return-to-work protocols and legislative compliance.
  • Support operational teams in resolving injury management issues and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including Third Party Administrators, healthcare providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of wellness and safety within the organization, aligning with our core values.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in workers' compensation and injury management, specifically in claims management end-to-end.
  • Allied health qualifications or experience in occupational therapy, exercise physiology, or physiotherapy would be highly regarded.
  • A deep understanding of return-to-work and rehabilitation best practices, with the ability to adapt strategies for individual cases.
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation self-insurance regimes, requirements, and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage injury management and return-to-work matters from start to finish.
  • Knowledge of creating and implementing effective strategic injury management practices.
