Culinary Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Culinary Team Member to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in line with our policies and procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Kitchen Operations & Culinary Excellence: Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standard recipes; assist in menu planning and maintaining high culinary standards while ensuring hygiene and food safety compliance.
  • Team Support & Development: Provide guidance, training, and coaching to kitchen staff; assist the Head Chef with recruitment, performance management, and fostering a positive, communicative team environment.
  • Stock & Equipment Management: Assist with ordering, maintaining, and monitoring stock and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree or Vocational Certificate: A degree or vocational certificate in Culinary Arts, Culinary Skills, or a related field.
  • Excellent Communication & Writing Skills: Strong ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and third parties in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.
  • Problem-Solving & Organizational Abilities: Proven ability to solve problems, think critically, and organize tasks efficiently.
