Learning Support Team Leader

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative learning programs that cater to students with additional needs. As a key member of our Learning Support team, you will lead the development of customized learning plans that meet the unique requirements of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop and implement learning programs that align with our institution's Learning for Life framework.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers to modify learning programs and meet individual student needs.
  • Team Management: Supervise and support Teachers and Aides in the Learning Support team.
  • Lesson Design: Create engaging lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Communication: Provide regular feedback to parents, engage with the community, and integrate ICT into learning outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master's degree in Special Education or relevant field.
  • Extensive knowledge of research-based best practices in Special Needs Education.
  • Experience using MultiLit, MacqLit, JEMM or JEMM+ mathematics programs.
