About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced senior accountant to join our growing finance department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Analyze financial data to inform business decisions

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior team members, so leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.

In this role, you will drive consolidated financial reporting for our group, month-end corporate work, reforecasting and annual budget preparation, and company tax compliance (including income tax, GST, FBT & payroll tax).

This position involves 20% property accounting, 30% fund consolidation reporting, 20% corporate accounting/month end work, and 30% quarterly management reporting - including investor reporting.

You are a CA or CPA-qualified Accountant, with prior experience working in the real estate space. You may be a first mover with real estate clients, or have a corporate/property/fund accounting background from another asset manager.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sophisticated stakeholder engagement capability, and attention to detail are must-haves.
