Seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join a dynamic team in Melbourne.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their Australian career, with the potential for long-term assignment. You will be working under the guidance of an experienced AP Supervisor and CFO, supporting the team for a minimum of 4 months.
Key Responsibilities:- Allocate large volumes of invoices to the correct GL accounts and departments.
- Communicate with internal departments and stores to follow up queries and ensure necessary approvals.
- Prepare and check daily payments.
- Report on payments daily.
- Attend to ad hoc matters at the direction of management.
- Reconcile accounts receivable accounts.
- Process billing and invoicing.
- Investigate accounts with overdue amounts.
- Manage trade expense queries.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to management.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and wider AP team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with AP or AR experience who can start quickly and make their first move into the Australian market.
