About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead in our Darwin office. As a key member of our National Building Services team, you will be responsible for leading and managing project teams to design and deliver projects on behalf of our clients in the Public and Private sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.
  • Be a mentor to engineers in the team, providing technical advice and soft skills.
  • Project lead medium to large size building engineering design, including project resources and delivery management.
  • Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders.
  • Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a friendly team environment.
  • Familiarity with other Building Services disciplines, with the ability to engage with those team members and evaluate design solutions.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience working within the building services sector, utilizing Australian building codes and standards.
  • A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Well-versed across a range of building sectors, e.g., commercial, health, defence, education.
  • Professional Engineer qualifications and/or Engineers Australia chartership would be advantageous, however is not essential.
