About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Darwin. As an Electrical Engineer at WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from single-discipline to multi-disciplinary projects, and lead medium to large-size building engineering design projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time
  • Be a mentor to engineers in the team, including technical advice and soft skills
  • Project lead medium to large-size building engineering design projects, including project resources and delivery management
  • Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders
  • Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with other Building Services disciplines
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience working within the building services sector
  • A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Well-versed across a range of building sectors
  • Professional Engineer qualifications and/or Engineers Australia chartership would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of project finance and commercials
