About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, collaborating with the Head Chef, and ensuring the highest quality of food production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary team in daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of food production and service.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menu design, outlet concepts, and special events.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, HACCP protocols, and Marriott's quality standards.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for the culinary industry. You should have a trade industry qualification or completion of a commercial cookery qualification, relevant experience in a similar role, and working rights in Australia.
