Job Description

Duratec Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. We seek a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our remediation projects from initial setup through to completion.


Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects in a contractor environment ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Implement effective cost control measures and ensure efficient project running
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors for successful project delivery
  • Conduct weekly meetings to track project progress and address technical issues
  • Provide expert advice on engineering and technical matters
  • Liaise closely with clients to ensure project runs smoothly and on schedule
  • Participate in tendering and estimation processes
  • Create and modify safety documents (ITPs and SWMS)
  • Raise RFIs and track responses for project improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in managing similar construction projects in a contractor environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills
  • A high level of understanding and appreciation for workplace safety
  • Solid programming and planning skills
  • Tertiary Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Construction induction white card and Police Clearance
  • Driver's Licence
