Job Role:

Senior Network Automation Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in our network security operations team, handling Level 3 escalations and managing vulnerability and maintenance windows.

  • We are looking for an expert with intermediate to professional knowledge in coding/scripting to support our network automation platform.
  • Key responsibilities include installation, configuration and upgrade of hardware, systems and software for networks.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analysing and managing risk at every aspect of work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Coding Skills: Python scripting/coding (Intermediate) - primary importance.
  • DevOps tools Skills: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault.
  • Network Security: Operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing ability to tackle complex network challenges. Experience with F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware (now Broadcom) NSX.
  • Data Management Skills: Data Collection, Schema Binding, Data Manipulation and Analytical skills.
