Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a Senior Cyber Analyst to support the development and execution of programs to enhance cyber security maturity and capability uplift across the energy sector.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating with government authorities and industry stakeholders to address cyber security challenges affecting the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex outcomes that support our team's responsibilities relating to cyber maturity uplift.
  • Maintain contacts and engage with stakeholders across government, industry, and academia.
  • Identify and review cyber security standards applying to market participants.
  • Support the review and refinement of sector-specific cyber maturity frameworks and reporting on security preparedness.
  • Assist in the development of supporting materials and presentations.
  • Coordinate internal and contracted resources to deliver objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the energy sector supporting critical infrastructure, resilience, and cyber security initiatives.
  • Effective analysis and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of security control and maturity frameworks relevant to the energy sector.
  • Knowledge of jurisdictional structures and arrangements across State, Territory, and Commonwealth governments with respect to energy and cyber security.
  • Contemporary knowledge of cyber adversary techniques and tradecraft.
  • Procurement, program, and project management skills.
  • Financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management skills.
  • Ability to travel interstate and work flexible hours.

Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to attain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance.
