Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Claims Performance Manager to join our NSW Workers Compensation team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, assessing and driving claims performance to meet business targets and objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with Business Analytics and Claims teams to develop comprehensive reporting that delivers actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Inform and support the development of strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry bodies and regulators.
  • Stay across scheme trends, changes and expectations, translating these into practical strategies for the business.
  • Deliver high-quality reports and presentations that influence decision-making at all levels.
Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Developing and implementing remediation plans across portfolios to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitoring and reporting on claims performance metrics.
  • Providing expert analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements

  • Proven experience in analysing claims performance and driving operational strategy.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of turning insights into measurable results.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead through influence across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to create, interpret and present detailed reporting to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in claims management, insurance performance or a similar operational performance role.
