Food Service Assistant Job Description

**Job Summary:**

As a Food Service Assistant at Amentum, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food services. Your responsibilities will include assisting in meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, making salads, and assembling entrees
* Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen area, including equipment and dishwashing
* Receive and stock food supplies as needed
* Ensure food and beverage areas are well-stocked and organized
* Deliver food and beverage orders promptly
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
* Assist with setup and cleanup of dining areas

**Qualifications:**

* Previous experience in food service or a related field is ideal
* Ability to follow instructions and safely operate kitchen equipment
* Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
* Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment
